About the Role:

The Partnership Manager role is responsible for establishing new partnerships and creating sustainable growth with potential OpenLearning partners in the education and training, corporate learning, and lifelong learning sectors.

This role works closely with the Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Learning Services teams to meet the needs of new and existing partners. The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship management, and industry networking.

This role plays an important part in driving the growth of the company through:

  • Proactively engaging with potential partners to provide solutions;
  • Taking responsibility for the execution and integration of new partnerships; and,
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure that new products and services are developed, piloted and effectively marketed to new and existing partners.

They will work collaboratively as part of the broader OpenLearning Teams to deliver against the company targets, contributing to the continuous improvement processes, and extension into new products and services.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Partnership Manager or Business Development Manager in an EdTech (preferably SaaS) or Education and Training organisation
  • Knowledge of key challenges and opportunities present in the lifelong learning sector locally and globally
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a geographically dispersed team


This role is based in our Sydney office (conveniently located near Central Station), with some flexibility to work from home part time.
