OpenLearning Appoints Trevor Furness to CRO Role

Sydney, Australia, 17 December 2024: OpenLearning (ASX: OLL), the AI powered SaaS platform for lifelong learning, today announced the appointment of Trevor Furness as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), responsible for leading revenue growth and business development in Australia.

Trevor brings over 20 years of experience in the education technology and software sectors and he has a proven history of leading transformation in high-performing teams and driving strong revenue growth. 

OpenLearning CEO Adam Brimo said: "Trevor brings a proven track record of driving sales success in the Edtech sector across ANZ and Southeast Asia. Throughout his career, he has effectively led sales teams through periods of organisational growth and significant revenue expansion. With his extensive experience and leadership skills, Trevor is well-positioned to accelerate our growth as we expand the adoption of our cloud-based learning solutions for both educational institutions and corporate clients."

Trevor joins OpenLearning from Octopus BI Global, following a 6 year period with Instructure (NYSE: INST) where he developed and executed a go to market strategy for enterprise, mid market and SMB segments in the education vertical across ANZ and SE Asia. Instructure is the owner of Canvas, the world’s largest learning management system, which recently sold to KKR for USD4.8bn.

Trevor has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney. He began his appointment with OpenLearning on December 1.
