About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Marketing Officer to lead and support our digital marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for driving website traffic, generating quality leads, managing social media strategy, ensuring brand consistency, and optimising marketing automation. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a passion for leveraging technology and data to enhance marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & SEO
- Manage and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current SEO best practices.
- Optimise for on-page and technical SEO, including meta tags, load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
- Execute off-page SEO strategies, including backlink building and outreach to improve domain authority.
- Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush.
- Generate organic traffic and quality lead generation through strategic content and SEO efforts.
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Plan and implement an effective social media content strategy across platforms.
- Schedule and monitor posts using tools like Metricool (or similar).
- Optimise posts for engagement and lead generation with clear CTAs.
- Collaborate on User Generated Content (UGC) campaigns and influencer/brand partnerships.
- Track social growth, impressions, post engagement, and performance.
Brand & Content Management
- Review and maintain the brand manual and visual identity guidelines.
- Develop branded templates for social media posts, pitch decks, and proposal documents.
- Ensure all marketing assets meet brand standards and messaging consistency.
Content Production & Agency Collaboration
- Collaborate with agencies and freelancers to produce marketing assets (e.g., testimonial videos, product promos).
- Where possible, develop content in-house to reduce turnaround times and costs.
- Manage and brief external providers as needed, ensuring outputs meet brand and campaign goals.
Marketing Automation & Reporting
- Use HubSpot CRM to manage and optimise lead nurturing and marketing automation workflows.
- Automate repetitive marketing tasks using AI tools where appropriate.
- Prepare monthly performance reports (e.g., SEO KPIs, social media insights, lead generation stats, engagement metrics).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field and experience.
- Certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, or HubSpot CRM (preferred).
- 2 - 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, lead generation, and social media.
- Hands-on experience using:
- CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
- SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar)
- Social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Metricool)
- Design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Strong understanding of brand consistency across channels.
- Ability to interpret and act on performance data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
