What You Will Do
- Research and prepare for every client engagement — understanding each prospect's context, current setup, and key needs before every meeting
- Deliver tailored platform demonstrations alongside the Sales Manager — showing clients exactly how OpenLearning addresses their specific challenges, not a generic walkthrough
- Answer product and technical questions during meetings — covering platform features, integrations, assessment tools, and configuration options honestly and accurately
- Follow up on open questions after meetings and keep deal momentum going between Sales Manager-led conversations
- Contribute to proposals and RFP responses — writing clear, accurate descriptions of platform capabilities and recommended configurations
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within prospect institutions — including IT administrators, e-learning coordinators, and academic staff who influence buying decisions
- Share client feedback, feature gaps, and integration requests back to the Product team in a structured way
- Ensure smooth handovers to the Customer Success team after a deal closes — briefing them on what was agreed and what the client expects
The Successful Candidate Should Have
- 1–3 years in a pre-sales, solutions, or client-facing SaaS role — EdTech experience is a strong advantage
- Confidence delivering software demonstrations to mixed audiences — technical and non-technical
- Good working knowledge of SaaS platforms and common integration concepts (LTI, API, SSO) at a practical level
- Strong communication skills — clear and adaptable whether presenting to a university IT team or an academic director
- The ability to write well — proposals, follow-ups, and technical summaries that are professional and easy to understand
- An organised, proactive approach — you manage prep work and multiple conversations without dropping the ball
- Familiarity with Philippine higher education (CHED), TVET (TESDA), or corporate L&D is highly regarded
- A collaborative and honest mindset — you work as part of a team and set accurate expectations with clients rather than over-promising
