New Partnership with Accredible

April 19th, 2021 - Accredible and OpenLearning today announced the launch of its partnership to bring secure, verifiable, and shareable digital certificates and badges to OpenLearning’s 2.73m+ global registered learners.

The partnership enables education institutions using OpenLearning to design, develop, and issue next generation digital badges and certificates. To achieve a seamless experience, Accredible has been integrated into the OpenLearning lifelong learning platform.

Additionally, Accredible will be utilised for the issuance of badges and certificates for OpenCreds, the lifelong learning micro-credential framework that has been designed to align with the Australian and Malaysian Qualification Frameworks. To enable education providers to realise the full potential of micro-credentials, Accredible will also be a founding member of the OpenCreds Consortium.

The partnership benefits stakeholders across the lifelong learning ecosystem:

• Learners will have the ability to showcase their achievements on social platforms such as LinkedIn and be able to demonstrate evidence of the learning outcomes achieved via their automatedOpenLearning portfolio.
• Employers can verify the credentials, view details such as expiration dates and review evidence of learning and outcomes achieved.
• Education providers now have access to an all-in-one lifelong learning platform with global reach for building their micro-credential and short course business.
